Intensive Beginners’ Course with experienced teacher Michael Lavocah, 5th & 12th September
Spice up your autumn – learn tango argentino with us!
Both classes are necessary to provide the basics of dancing tango. Each class teaches different features.
Subscribe to both Saturday afternoons as the two units will give you the basics of tango dancing.
If you want to, you can then join our regular classes each Thursday at the Diamond Centre, Norwich.
Do I need to take both classes?
Yes, as a beginner you should take BOTH classes. Each class teaches different features. Each one is necessary to provide the basics of dancing tango.
I can only do one class. Shall I come?
If you can only do one class but want to continue in our regular classes, you can upgrade your basic tango knowledge by taking private lessons with one of our teachers.
Do I need a partner?
Ideally yes, but not necessarily. If you come as a single dancer, we’ll try to balance it.
How can I pay?
You can either pay through ticketsource or by BACS – contact us for our bank account details.
Is it a useful refresher class?
The 2 classes are perfect if you want to fresh up your tango basics. We all should do this from time to time.
Can I learn to lead?
Of course! If you are a follower and want to learn how to lead, these classes would be the perfect start for you.
Which regular class can I join?
After these two classes, you’ll have learned important tango dancing basics to move on the dance floor. We would be delighted if you then joined our regular Thursday classes (7.15 – 10pm at the Diamond Centre).
What footwear should I wear?
It’s best to wear something which doesn’t have too much grip (leather soles are best), as you will find pivoting easier.
